Hey, Ok, so first things first... Had a few emails over the past few months asking whether Tyrese Gibson is still attached to produce "Condition Dead" (The zombie-actioner from writer David Davis, that my production company is developing). The short answer? No, he isn't. He's no longer involved. Tyrese was never going to star in the film - merely be an executive producer on it. Tyrese left the project a while ago....But, the film is still very much happening.
We're actually doing "CD" with another crowd now (Joel Soisson, of "Feast" and "Pulse 2", is one of the guys on board; some other talent chaps involved too) and it's coming together fantastically. I truly believe - and I'm not just saying this to get your bums on seats come release day - it'll knock your socks off. It's a great script - and will make an even better film. It's a big film, so it'll take time to get up, but I guarantee it'll be worth the wait. Will reveal more when I'm able to.
OK, now that I've got that out of the way....
Writer/Director John Singleton is in pre-production on an unofficial sequel to his 2001 flick “Baby Boy”.
“Fight for Love”, a drama scheduled to shoot in the Fall, will reunite the stars of the earlier film Tyrese Gibson and Taraji P. Henson.
In the film, Gibson and Henson play a struggling couple, Sir and Cookie, who've two kids, some unapproving parents and a bevy of external forces working against them.
Meanwhile, Tyrese seems to think he’s a lock for “The A-Team”…
Check this out.
