Ashley Judd, seemingly off doing anything but acting the last few years, will return to the big screen for a role in “The Tooth Fairy”, the new Dwayne Johnson-headlined comedy about a minor league hockey player nicknamed the Tooth Fairy.
Judd (“Double Jeopardy”) is the big guy’s ‘woman’ – a single mum with two kids.
My good buddy Jim Piddock (he appears in a lot of Christopher Guest’s movies – “A Mighty Wind”, “Best in Show”, “For Your Consideration”) wrote the story for this one and receives an executive producer credit on it too. Hopefully they have the smarts to throw him an acting role in it too.
