In today's installment of ‘Is this the next Catwoman?' - something we seem to playing each and every week at the moment - we learn that a "Doomsday" star may end up in the litter box (same place this rumour will probably end up by the end of the week).
Our friends at Batman On Film have heard - but even they stress not to take it as anything more than a rumour - Rhona Mitra's name associated with the role of Selina Kyle in the next Bat flick.
Mitra, who played Kit McGraw on "Nip/Tuck" and recently had the lead in Neil Marshall's action flopperoo "Doomsday", is quietly climbing the action-heroine ranks in Hollywood - she next has the lead in Sony's "Underworld : Rise of the Lycans" - so it's quite possible that someone at Warner Bros has brought up her name - but it's likely they'll also want to see about getting a bigger name first. More to the point, let's remember, there's not even a script for ‘'Batman 3'' yet, so casting is quite a way off yet.
Here's Rhona in her, er, classic scene from "Hollow Man"
