I love "Friday Night Lights" - its quite possibly the best series on TV - and I'd probably watch any of its cast in anything (not that I'm aching for Connie Britton to host a documentary on soup any time soon); come to think of it, I have sat through some rubbish starring its cast in recent months - best example, Scott Porter was in both "Prom Night" and "Speed Racer". Couldn't save either.
Taylor Kitsch, who plays Tim Riggins on the hit DirecTV series, is now jumping over to the big screen - and by all accounts, in something that might possibly be half-decent. But that's beside the point, even if the movie sucks, Kitsch has scored himself a rather plum role - that of comic-book fave 'Gambit', the card-playing mutant in Fox "X-Men Origins : Wolverine". And he looks pretty damn slick in this first photo. Hopefully this part will do a little more for his cinematic career than his bit parts in "The Craft" and "John Tucker Must Die" did.
