"Transporter 3" co-stars Robert Knepper and Jason Statham will reunite for Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables".
Knepper, best known as the southern suck hole T-Bag on TVs "Prison Break", tells the BBC that Robert Earl, one of the film's producers and the CEO of the Planet Hollywood restaurant chain, asked him personally to play a role in the "Dirty Dozen"-esque action-adventure.
"It was like a little surreal moment last Friday night. The owner of Planet Hollywood comes up to me and says, 'I love you on Prison Break. Want to do Sly's next film?' Maybe that's how they do it in Vegas. You get together with these people and I'm like, 'Sure. Let's talk. Let's meet him'. So that's how it started. We'll see where it goes.''
Written and directed by Stallone, "The Expendables" tells of a team of mercenaries who head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator. The film stars Statham, Stallone, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren.
