Dolph Lundgren has been on-and-off the third "Universal Soldier" movies than Will Smith's mispronounced 'Outstanding' at the Oscars.

Though Jean Claude Van Damme was always onboard, and he too wanted his original "Soldier" co-star Lundgren back, the film's producers were rumoured to be out to save money by dropping Lundgren from proceedings.

Well, something's been worked out because the first set pictures from "Universal Soldiers : The Next Generation" have emerged online at DOLPH - THE ULTIMATE GUIDE . And yep, that's Dolph Lundgren pictured on the set in Bulgaria!

Directed by John Hyams (the son of "TimeCop" director Peter Hyams), the new film sees Luc Deveraux (Van Damme) joining a U.S. team of Uni-Soldiers secretly held in deep storage. Their mission: retake Chernobyl and disable explosives that will unleash radioactive clouds. Luc discovers that one of the reactivated UniSoldiers is a clone of his old Sergeant, Andrew Scott (Lundgren).
