The Judd Apatow-Produced Slasher Pic – yes, you heard right – has a title.

CHUD chatted to actor Bill Hader (“The Pineapple Express”) who says he and Simon Rich recently handed in a draft for their new funny-frightener “House of Joel” to Sir Apatow.

That title – “House of Joel” – could change though because apparently some folks at Apatow Productions think “When a Stranger calls a Dude” works better. (Hader doesn’t agree because the killer in the film never calls his character).

Hader had previously mentioned the project to the site a few months back, saying “It is definitely about guys nowadays, that idea that you watch fucked up shit on TV, how violence in our culture – this sounds really hoity toity – you watch fucked up reality shows, I love true crime shows. The idea of that thing coming to your house, and what do you do? I would shit my pants. That’s basically what the movie is about. What if that guy decided to come to your house? What would you and your dipshit friends do about it?’”
