The age-old “When is Evil Dead 4, coming?” question was bought up in an interview with Aint it Cool. The response was typically indeterminate but promising.

‘’EVIL DEAD 4 is all about blood and gore and EVIL DEAD movies and I really like the EVIL DEAD movies and I really want to make another EVLI DEAD movie sometime”, the “Drag me to Hell” director tells the site. “I don’t want to say when, because everyone keeps getting mad at me…”

‘’I do want to do it!’’ assures Raimi.

A 2012 release date is mentioned for “Evil Dead 4″ – but I wouldn’t bet the farm on it. Last I heard, Brothers Sam and Ivan had written about a quarter of the script.
