You kids can stop crafting those mock “Jurassic Park 4” posters in PhotoShop – because the film is unlikely to ever happen, thus, there won’t be any fansites wanting your rapidly-produced homemade one sheets.

Producer Frank Marshall tells io9 that the once-as-good-as-greenlit fourth installment has been put on the back-burner, adding that it’s a “long-shot” in terms of it ever happening.

More likely to come to fruition is Marshall’s remake of Wolfgang Peterson’s “NeverEnding Story”.

‘’We love the book’’, the uber-producer said at a roundtable interview. ‘’We’ve always thought there was an opportunity there because there are a lot of elements in the book that aren’t in the movie. It’s another one where we’re still working on the rights. It’s a huge thing to get it. And once we get that, we’ll bring on a writer. But that’s kind of off in the distance, but it’s a great story.’’
