I believe Tosia’s first words, upon viewing the following pics, were “Wow. Oh my god. Look at Dakota!”. Yes, she's usually bowled over by anything or anyone associated with "Twilight", but not being a huge fan of Dakota Fanning, was as skeptical as most of us were. But the pics really do sell Dakota as Currie!

JustJared has published the first pics of “Twilight” (or rather “New Moon”) stars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning as Joan Jett and Cherrie Currie, respectively, in the upcoming Floria Sigismondi directed biopic.

I’ve always liked Stewart for Joan Jett, but have to admit I was a little unsure about how Fanning would fare as Currie. And though the jury is still out on whether the youngster can pull it off, she definitely looks good…she’s an amazing clone for the blonde rocker….so this might be the one to see her break out from the talking-spider movies.
