Don't imagine this is anywhere near a done deal (especially considering reports the film has been pushed back), but according to TVNZ, Bat-babe Katie Holmes could be joining the cast of the "Sex and the City" sequel.

Holmes, currently in Melbourne filming "Don't be Afraid of the Dark" with Guy Pearce (and a bunch of unemployed Aussie actors you haven't seen since "Richmond Hill" was on air), is reportedly up for the role of "a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha" in the 2010 sequel.

Hubby Tom Cruise wasn't keen on Katie doing "The Dark Knight", would he really approve of "Sex and the City 2"? Unlikely.
