Though he’s always been a firm fave to play the new ‘Mad’ Max Rockatansky in George Miller’s ‘’Mad Max 4 Fury Road’’, actor Sam Worthington says the doc’s never even approached him about it.
And the part that’ll make you go ‘Oh, damn’? Worthington says he would’ve loved to have played the part.

“I would have loved it. From what I’ve heard, it’s going to be amazing”, the “Avatar” star told The Daily Telegraph.

But the man lost the James Bond franchise to Daniel Craig, knows how the casting process works only too well.

“I’m sure (director) George (Miller) has his reasons. He’s obviously got his own ideas about the type of guy he wants.”

… or, he just doesn’t read the talkbacks.

Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron are currently negotiating to come onboard the third sequel to 1979 classic “Mad Max”.
