“Grey’s Anatomy” stud Eric Dane will join Christina Aguilera and Cher in Screen Gems’ musical “Burlesque”, according to Variety.

The Steve Antin written/directed piece centers on Ali, an ambitious small town girl with a big town voice (Aguilera) who finds love, family and success in a neo-burlesque club.

Dane will play Marcus, a charming, successful businessman who offers to buy Tess (Cher) out of the burlesque club and vies for Ali’s heart.

Kristen Bell, Alan Cumming, Stanley Tucci, and Cam Gigandet round out the cast of the film, which commenced filming last week in Los Angeles.

“Burlesque” is in U.S theatres next thanksgiving.
