Oprah is about to holler for the last time….

The reigning talk-show queen has announced she’ll be taking a ratchet to the set of ''The Oprah Winfrey Show'' in 2011.

Chicago’s most famous resident will record her final show on September 9, 2011.

Variety says it’s not known whether Winfrey, who’ll announce her show’s final lap on the show next week, will launch a new talker on her burgeoning cable partnership with Discovery Communications, OWN but say she is presumed to play a big on-air part on the network.

With Oprah out of the way, Ellen DeGeneris can then step in and claim the crown (and considering Oprah just put Ellen on the front cover of her magazine, seems the Chicagonite is ready and willing to hand over the prize).
