I gotta admit, it was fun to hear that Dwight Schultz – the original Howling Mad Murdock from “The A-Team” – would be making a surprise appearance (well, not much of a surprise in the internet era; hello “Zombieland”!) in Joe Carnahan’s upcoming feature film adaptation, but whose name I really wanted to see on the casting call was Dirk Benedict – the original ‘Faceman’.

God loves me. Today, anyway.

According to Dirk Benedict Central (via Cinematical), Benedict has announced he’ll be cameoing in the June 11, 2009 release too.

Yippee! I’m like a kid that’s found a golden ticket in his overpriced choccie bar!
