Commando remake?

Hands up who isn’t happy with the Schwarzenegger classic “Commando”?

Enough blood in it for you?

What about fights – the fights still work for you?

How about the rocket launcher? Should it have been bigger?

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it too - still gets my underarms damp.

And dhances are you won’t find too many action/Schwarzenneger fans prepared to say a bad word against the oak’s ’85 effort – and with good reason, it was a friggin good time for all, y’all!

Still, producer Joel Silver tells Collider he was never that happy with the film. He thinks it could have been better. And to this day, he’s still toying with the idea of remaking it (though assumingly without Schwarzenegger).

“We talked about maybe remaking “Commando” at one point because that wasn’t….I think it could have been a much better movie and we didn’t really have the money or the time to do that properly, so I wouldn’t mind trying to do that one again”, Silver, who also produced Schwarzenegger starrer “Predator”, tells the website.

(Did you know that "Die Hard" was originally intended to be a sequel to "Commando", with Schwarzenegger reprising his role as John Matrix? True story!).

Speaking of projects-Silver-wants-to-do-but-likely-wont, “Lethal Weapon 5” is still immobile.

‘’Mel [Gibson] just didn’t want to do it. He just didn’t feel it was the right time for him to do it, so we aren’t doing it now’’, Silver says. ‘’Shane [Black] actually wrote something and he liked it but he just didn’t want to commit to it at that time’’.

Here's hoping he will..... another Shane Black-penned "Lethal Weapon" can only be better than sex, right!? right!?
