Are Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, writers of what’s indubitably one of the year’s biggest surprise packages “Zombieland”, about to earn their superhero-movie stripes?

CHUD have heard whispers that the screenwriting duo, who’ll no doubt be swimming in riches over the next couple of years what with all the work that’ll be flooding their way, have been approached to write “Deadpool”.

Is anyone else feeling slightly more confident now (heck, confident now) about the Ryan Reynolds-starring flick!?

(And if it's true, maybe the boys can entice Reynolds into the 3-D "Zombieland" sequel, too!?)
