Teen Wolf Taylor Lautner will be paid in gold bullion for his role in the upcoming Tom Cruise-actioner, “Northern Lights”.
The story of father-and-son pilots, the film – which will earn Lautner $7.5 million - will be directed by the sometimes-good John Moore (“Behind Enemy Lines”, “Flight of the Phoenix”) and produced by disaster-movie vet Dean Devlin, whose “Flyboys” also told of those magnificent men in their flying machines.
Nikki Fenke says said flick is about "a gifted, young, aerobatics pilot who faces off with his controlling, billionaire father and falls in love with a gifted, female pilot”.
No word on whether Cruise is playing the billionaire, or , er, reprising Pete Maverick but it’s safe to safe Lautner’s the ‘gifted, young, aerobatics pilot”.
I believe this is script David Ellison, Duane Adler and Todd Robinson have all been thumping away at for the past year or two at Paramount.
