As predicted, “Thor†has taken the “Spider-Man 4†release date May 11, 2011 – now that the latter won’t be ready in time.
Initially, the Kenneth Branagh-directed caper, starring Chris Hemsworth (“Star Trek”), Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings (“Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist”), Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba (“The Office”), Stuart Townsend, Tom Hiddleston (“Wallander”), Colm Feore (“24″) & Rene Russo, was a May 20 release.
The fourth “Pirates of the Caribbean†will now open in the old “Thor†slot, May 20 (Source : Box Office Mojo).
