AC/DC will provide the tunes for Paramount’s “Iron Man 2”, according to a joint press release from Marvel Studios and Columbia Records.

Unlike the first “Iron Man” film, which only featured the one AC/DC track, the sequel will reportedly feature 15 of the band’s greatest hits. A soundtrack album, “AC/DC : Iron Man 2”, hits stores on Monday April 19.

The debut video from "AC/DC: Iron Man 2" is the AC/DC’s classic album cut “Shoot To Thrill,” which was filmed live last month in Buenos Aires during the band’s Black Ice World Tour.

“Jon Favreau’s vision and passion for AC/DC’s music blend seamlessly into this incredible film,” Steve Barnett, co-chairman of Columbia Records, is quoted in the Marvel/Columbia press release. "The music really underscores the high energy and excitement of the film.”

“Music is an integral part of the Tony Stark and Iron Man experience, and we are pleased that Columbia and AC/DC are taking part in the franchise’s phenomenon. Through this relationship, the band is delivering fans supercharged Iron Man branded music through all our combined consumer touch points, from the movie to retail outlets and even virally with the debut of the new video,” Tim Connors, Chief Operating Officer, Marvel Studios, also says in the press release.

The track listing for the forthcoming soundtrack album includes Back in Black, Thunderstruck, If You Want Blood (You've Got It), T.N.T, and - fittingly – War Machine.

AC/DC has previously lent their music to films including “Last Action Hero” (‘Big Gun’), “Maximum Overdrive” (‘Who Made Who’), “Thunderstruck” (which featured cover songs only), and “Private Parts” (‘You Shook Me All Night Long’).
