Tom Arnold tells Skewed and Reviewed that though he can’t say anything until after the Oscars, he will be doing another movie with “True Lies” helmer and co-star James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the near future. Arnold stated that the film wouldn’t be called “True Lies 2″.
Two bits of Hugh Jackman news crossed the wire today. First, Roger Friedman (yeah, the guy that downloaded – and consequently proceeded to tell his readers how to do so too – “Wolverine”) is reporting that Jackman’s “Wolverine” sequel, which will be set in Japan (no surprise), is due to kick off in January. In addition, Jackman’s attached to Lee Daniel’s “Selma”, says USA today. The flick, a Civil Rights drama that Robert DeNiro was at one time circling too, is eyeing a May start. “I have to really start casting the movie because we’re shooting it soon”, Daniels says. “The only person I’ve nailed in for sure is Hugh Jackman. It’s all over the place.”
The Sam Raimi-produced remake of “The Shadow” has moved from Sony to Fox. In addition, it’s reported that “30 Days of Night” and “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse” director David Slade is up for the job of director, which, quite frankly, I’m smiling from ear to ear about! (Latino Review).

Ryan Devlin (TVs “Cougar Town”) will play the young lead, opposite William Shatner, in CBS’ comedy pilot “Shit My Dad Says”. The series, based on the somewhat-amusing Twitter account (but seriously, TV show!? c’mon!), fixes on the relationship between a young man (Devlin) and his over opinionated father (Shatner) (The Hollywood Reporter).
Jason Isaacs, currently starring opposite Matt Damon in “The Green Zone”, will play the lead in the new Fox drama “Pleading Guilty”. Based on the book by Scott Turow (“Presumed Innocent”), centers on Mack (Isaacs), a cop-turned-attorney described as “a big handsome Irish lunk” who is assigned to investigate the disappearance of the firm’s star litigator (The Hollywood Reporter).
