Not surprisingly, considering it’s been rating OK in the tough Friday night time slot, The CW has renewed “Smallville” for a tenth season.

Apparently things aren’t look as rosy for the struggling “Melrose Place” reboot or the critically-acclaimed but little-watched “Life Unexpected” with insiders predicting The CW will give both the chop.

Hmmm… so more “Smallville” hey? From a personal point of view I think they should’ve killed the show a couple of years back – and this is coming from someone that initially loved the show. There just doesn’t seem to be much else for Clark to do on the series (well, besides get fitted for that legendary costume of his – but the producers are resisting going there) and just how many false-endings can the trouble-chasing Chloe have!?
