Guy Ritchie’s skirting from one literary legend to another.
The “Sherlock Holmes” helmer is tackling a new film based on sword-wielding King Arthur, says Variety. The film will be penned by “Trainspotting” scribe John Hodge, and produced by Atlas Entertainment and Hollywood Gang.
The flick, which will use the book “Le Morte d’Arthur,” as its core inspiration, will be ”a re-imagining of the legend of Arthur, believed to have been a sixth century king defended Britain against Saxon invaders”.
