Thanks to Hopscotch Films, Moviehole has 10 double in-season passes up for grabs to see Neil Marshall’s highly-anticipated new film, “Centurion”.

”Centurion” is an epic, historical action adventure set in 117 AD. The Roman Empire stretches across Europe, from Egypt to Spain, and east as far as the Black Sea. But in northern Britain, the onslaught of Roman conquest has ground to a halt in the face of the guerrilla tactics of an elusive enemy: the savage tribesmen known as the Picts. Quintus (Michael Fassbender), a confident Roman soldier and sole survivor of a recent raid, marches north with General Virilus’ (Dominic West) legendary Ninth Legion, under orders to wipe the Picts from the face of the earth and destroy their leader Gorlacon. But when the legion is ambushed and Virilus taken captive, Quintus faces a desperate struggle to keep his small platoon alive behind enemy lines.

From cult director Neil Marshall (”The Descent”, ”Dog Soldiers”) and in the spirit of ”300”, ”Centurion” promises to be an action packed adventure tale steeped in legend.
