Not surprisingly, considering the company’s recent revelation that sequels, prequels and remakes might just help them stay afloat, Dimension are pushing forward with their long-rumoured “American Werewolf in London” remake.
(Yes, makes me sick too! How anyone could top Landis’ superb original, not to mention the flawless performances of David Naughton and Griffin Dunne is beyond me! And you just know, despite the advances in technology, that the creature isn’t going to look even half-as-good in this new version!)
According to 24 Frames, Fernley Phillips, writer of the so-so Jim Carrey thriller “The Number 23″, has been tapped to pen the re-rise of the bad moon.
Dimension are also developing remakes of “Hellraiser” and “Children of the Corn”.
