Though it’s fair to say the film underperformed at the box office, Dimension – hoping their sequels get them out of the red – announced today that we’ll be seeing a sequel to this weekend’s “Piranha”.

Writer of the first film Josh Stolberg tells Moviehole that “Now I probably shouldn’t give this away. But, what the hell… The sequel we’re working up now is Piranha meets Phone Booth. It takes place entirely in a hot tub.”

In a world of high-concept movie-mucking, we’re not sure hundred-percent positive he’s joking. He probably is. Maybe. Though… well, anyway… here’s the press release Dimension sent out today :
