Though I hear it was actually Kelly Clarkson that stole the show with her impressive set of lungs, Superbowl was also the host of some wowing TV spots. Among the film spots taking up expensive ad space this year, “Battleship” from Pete Berg; “The Avengers” with the cast of ‘Zodiac’ going all cosplay; Danny De Vito’s big movie comeback as Dr Seuss’ “The Lorax”; “John Carter” starring Taylor Kitsch and lots of red terrain; and one for a new 3D “Transformers” ride – cos we all know you’re begging for more Transformers, right? Marketing team can’t be wrong, no!?
