According to Aint it Cool News, Oscar fave Philip Seymour Hoffman will be again playing another real-life character when he stars in a forthcoming Russ Meyer biopic.

But no, he won’t be playing Meyer, director of such classics as “Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!”. Instead, says the site, he’ll be playing none other than renowned film critic Roger Ebert.

Assumingly, this is the same project that was announced in December – a film version of the Russ Meyer biography Big Bosoms And Square Jaws: The Biography Of Russ Meyer, King Of The Sex Film, which Rob Cohen (“XXX”) is directing.
