Clint here (the one that's rumoured to be making a new "Dirty Harry" movie),
We had a script review up for "The A-Team" a few months back, but within about 24 hours it was ordered down by the Fox legal department. Those that read it though, will recall that Adam Frazier thought it was pretty stinky - it shared very little in common with the classic 80s TV series we know, love and quote endlessly.
Whatever the case, "The A-Team" movie, with John Singleton at the helm, has been skedded for release. According to Variety, it's due out June 12, 2009.
The flick will bring to the bigscreen the exploits of Hannibal Smith and his team of former special forces soldiers, who have been set up for a crime they didn't commit. No casting yet - but a couple of names that have been thrown about are Ice Cube (B.A Baracus) and Mel Gibson (Hannibal Smith; unlikely he'd agree to it though).
