Julie Benz is the new ‘Golden Girl’ of Lionsgate it seems (I take it she’s been offered a three-picture deal with the crowd?) with the “Dexter” star just signing to star in her third consecutive film for the studio.

Benz first buddied up with LG on this year’s “Rambo”, then she cowered behind Ray Stevenson for the upcoming “The Punisher: War Zone”, now the shingle have recruited the former TV Vampire – she was Darla on “Buffy” - to play he female lead in another of their franhisey flickers, “Saw 5”.

George of the Jungle’s Ursula – Benz starred opposite Chris Showerman in “George of the Jungle 2”- will take lead vine in the film, says Variety. Little is known about her character other than she’s an “elegant” type and, I’m guessing, has a run-in with someone who likes pulling limbs from unsuspecting humanites.
