David Eick (''Bionic Woman'') is moving on from hot cyborg chicks and onto hot-chicks-that-shouldn’t-be-pregnant-but-are-and-as-a-consequence-have-to-run!
The Executive Producer of the new defunct Jamie Sommers relaunch is prepping a new TV series based on the book, “Children of Men” – which, of course, inspired a film of the same name; starring Clive Owen.
"It's really taking root more in the origins of the novels in that it will focus on the cultural movement in which young people become the society's utter focus," Eick said in an interview with Sci-Fi Wire. "Much like our culture, whenever Lindsay Lohan does something [and] it becomes the headline of every news show, it's about how, when you don't have a responsibility to the next generation and you're free to do whatever you want, where do you draw the line?"
The series won’t “be a war film like the show like the movie was. It's more an exploration of that issue”, Eick adds.
