Christopher Lambert tells SFX Magazine that he will be back as Connor McCloud for the next "Highlander" movie (wonder if the studio's aware of his intentions?). According to Lambert, he'll have a "small cameo" in "Highlander : The Source", which Brett Leonard will direct for Dimension . Meanwhile, Lambert's about to start work on "Mortal Kombat 3" for Director George P.Cosmatos ["Rambo : First Blood Part II"].
Forget those re-casting rumours, Eric Bana will indeed be back in "Hulk 2". Back in Oz for Chrissy, the big guy says he's signed and as soon as it's, ah, green - he's there. Meanwhile, Superhero Hype is reporting that February's Total Film magazine features some new information from Marvel's Avi Arad. "In the next movie, Hulk 2, the Hulk will be smaller. If you make him 15-feet tall, there's no human connection there.....Right now we are still developing the sequel. I think the key thing is to come up with the right story.", says the Marvel magnate.
Former "Cybill" star Christine Baranski is set to join the cast of the Alyson Hannigan/Jennifer Love Hewitt/Ed O'Neill sitcom "In the Game". Baranski will play a senior reporter on the show, set around a sports TV show. Can the star-power make anything of it?

Hot on the heels of news that Pierce Brosnan might be on the verge of resigning, Several Brit sites are reporting that the next Bond flick has been pushed back even further. Apparently the Broccoli's and MGM have had a tiff. The studio wants the same old- same old (big-budget gadget-adorned action pics) whilst the Broccoli's want some more plot-driven 007 efforts. "It does not bode well. There is a lot of ego, money and belief at stake - no one is backing down. The Broccoli camp believe they are the keepers of an untouchable tradition, and the money men want their megabucks."
John Travolta was asked the unremitting "Will you be doing that Vega Brothers movie with Tarantino?" question by the troops at The Herald. The disco-king replies, "I don't ever demand an answer from Quentin. He's his own man". Meanwhile, JT's about to re-team with his "Get Shorty" co-star James Gandolfini for "Lonely Hearts".
Talking of QT, Filmink has an interview up with Hilary Duff up in which the pint-sized blonde says she's keen to get in on Tarantino's next. "I think I’d like to work with Quentin Tarantino… I really think that he’s kinda out there, you know?". Yeah...we know. And darls, unfortunately, QT's probably heard all about "Raise your Voice".
Some more additions to the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" movie, courtesy of The Planet Magrathea. Rickman will provide the voice of Marvin the Paranoid Android, and Bill Bailey ["Black Books"] will provide the voice of the whale that's eager to make friends with a planet. Hmmm.
Don't look for Erick Avari in "Elektra". He's been replaced - he was in "Daredevil" - as Elekta's Daddy-Pops it seems for the spin-off, according to Comics Continuum. Playing Pops to slinky stuff is Kurt Max Runte, who returns to the Marvel Family after playing Chief of Staff Abrahams in "X Men 2". "Elektra" commences Next week.
